So...who exactly is SideStep? 

Here's a guide that lets you know who each of these talented musicians are...

 

Ann – You’ve heard her sing, but did you know that she was very first chairperson for the Cornhusker Country Small Animal/Livestock and Rodeo Association? Ann is an avid bat watcher and loves to collect shoes. In fact, her collection rivals that of Imelda Marcos. (If you don’t remember Imelda Marcos, google her name sometime!)

Cory – Our resident guitarist is not only known for playing lead guitar but is also highly sought after for his home improvement abilities. He’s pretty mean with drywall and trim and is known for his ability to “spackle that crack!”

Mark G – A former surfing champion, Mark suffered a near fatal injury with a surfboard as a kid (didn’t know you were supposed to put them IN the water and not ride on top of a car). Giving that hobby up, he took up playing keyboards. In fact, he’s one of the fastest keyboard players in America! Watch him closely sometime…his fingers NEVER leave his hands!

Byron – What can we say about Byron…well…he sings all of our songs about drinking beer. So, Byron must be a good guy. Oh yeah, he plays rhythm guitar too!

Randee – Randee, our drummer, is the serious one in the band. I mean it…dead serious. He’s like the “Godfather” of music. You play the wrong beat, he break-a your knuckles. That serious, folks.

Chris – Besides playing bass for SideStep, Chris is our cheese connoisseur. In fact, cheese is his middle name (Havarti) In addition to this, he likes taking his pet buffalo (Fluffy) out for a ride when he has time. Though…he hasn’t quite figured out where the wings on a buffalo are yet. He’s also our techie guru and updates our website.

 

Mark – Runs sound for us. His knowledge of sound systems and effects are unparalleled in the industry. And, he herds sheep too.
